Welcome to Begin the Journey

Welcome to Begin the Journey

Have you ever heard someone say:

"You need a domain."

"Just set up a blog."

"Connect your DNS."

"Install an SSL certificate."

…and quietly wondered what on earth they were talking about?

I certainly did.

When I started my online business journey, it felt as though everyone else had been given a dictionary of online business terms except me.

People spoke confidently about funnels, domains, hosting, SEO, blogs, and landing pages as though they were everyday words.

I nodded politely.

The truth?

I often had absolutely no idea what they meant.

I don't think I'm alone.

Many beginners aren't afraid of hard work—they're afraid of feeling foolish for asking questions they think everyone else already knows the answers to.

That's why I created Begin the Journey.

Not because I'm an expert with all the answers, but because I'm learning too.

Every time I finally understand something that once confused me, I want to explain it in plain English so that someone else doesn't have to spend hours trying to make sense of it.

This isn't a blog about becoming an overnight success.

It's a blog about taking one step, then another.

Some posts will answer questions you've been too embarrassed to ask.

Some will share mistakes I've made so you don't have to make them yourself.

Some will simply remind you that feeling overwhelmed is part of learning something new.

If you're starting from zero, you're in exactly the right place.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by where to begin, I've put together a free Beginner's Online Business Starter Checklist.

It's the resource I wish I'd had when I started, and I hope it helps make your own first steps a little clearer.

Welcome to Begin the Journey.

Put the kettle on, grab a cup of coffee, and let's figure this out together.

Hopefully, today knows a little more than yesterday.

Because we are learning together.
